Right You Didn't Know You Have

B.C.'s Representative for Children and Youth has a Social Media Youth Team made up of six members who are focused on youth rights and making sure youth know about the Representative's advocacy services. This video features two of our youth team members, Sarah and Louis, telling youth about rights they may not even know they have.

The Convention on the Rights of the Child

Grade 7 and 8 students at St.Jerome Catholic Elementary School started discussing Social Justice issues in their Religion class; the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child was introduced to them. The students took a social justice issue that resonated with them and connected it to a children's right, followed by creating a poster. These posters were then hung around the school to bring awareness to Children's Rights. A few students voiced over their posters to create this movie.
